This is a 45-minute consult in which will we will go over your pet’s current diet, preferences, and overall health goals. We will determine any recommendations for specific food, supplements, calorie adjustments, weight loss goals, or prescription diets. Prior to the appointment, we will review your pets current diet and health history as well as any records provided from your primary care veterinarian.

Currently, our appointments are performed via telehealth. For patients not examined in person (except for NJ residents), we are unable to provide prescriptions for diets, but can make recommendations to your primary care veterinarian.

Follow-up as needed via e-mail.

This option is only available for patients living within 20 miles of Northampton, MA and is sliding scale based on distance. This charge is additional to the General Nutrition Consult.

By doing an in-person examination this will allow us to prescribe veterinary prescription diets and supplements and get to know your pet’s personality! It is also helpful to see your home set-up when discussing weight loss plans.

An in-person exam is required for any patient who does not have an exam performed by their primary care veterinarian in the past 3 months.

30-minute follow-up appointment. These can be for any additional questions you have, follow-up on how they are doing on diet changes, and for established patients with new challenges.

For weight-loss patients we have specific packages for long-term, more frequent follow-up!
