Our story

After working as an Emergency Veterinarian for over 5 years, I realized there was a gap in education and attention to nutrition. Many of the cases seen in the ER were related to nutrition and many times diet changes and supplements were recommended but compliance and follow-up were difficult. Conversations needed about nutrition went much farther than the scope of the emergency consult.

I created this practice to fill a niche and create a space where nutrition can be the focus and get the attention it needs. With endless new prescription diets and veterinary supplements coming out on the market, it is not reasonable for a general practitioner to keep track of all of these in addition to the immensely important work they do to keep our pets healthy. We are also working to make prescription diets and trustworthy supplements readily available.
